a place where I feel the most at peace

 The place I feel the most at peace is in the shower. The warm water is comforting, and the white noise of the fan seems to block everything out. I also have the peace of mind that while I'm in the shower I won't be bothered. No one asking me about grades, or what I'm going to do after highschool, or even someone telling me they need me to do something for them. For once I'm allowed to exist in the moment instead of worrying about my future.

The perfect day with someone I care about

 The perfect day with someone I care about would start with getting lunch. Then afterwards we'd spend some quality time together. Maybe we'd watch a movie, or bake cookies. We could go out and do something exciting but I'd rather stay in the comfort of my own home. To end the day we'd have a nice dinner, preferably something cooked at home. Today in class we finished our one-pager assignments. I'm pretty happy with how mine turned out, it looks pretty accurate to the layout that I had in mind. I did see another student draw a phoenix on their assignment though, and I kinda regret choosing the sun because the phoenix is way cooler.

gender roles

 Today in class we discussed gender roles. It was interesting to hear everyone's views on gender, and I think that was the most vocal discussion our class has had. I liked today's lesson because I'm more aware of gender roles than I am of my family history or my ethnic culture. Especially because I am a more masculine presenting woman who is attracted to other women. Nothing out of the ordinary happened today, but for lunch we were served cheese rippers which are my favorite!
