something I can't stop thinking about

 Something that I can't stop thinking about is Godzilla! I love Godzilla, and all affiliating giant monsters. Godzilla has deep and poetic movies, but Godzilla also has silly comedic movies. Although I haven't seen all of them I still think he's pretty cool, and is the perfect blend of scary yet funny creature. I have a large collection of Godzilla merchandise too, and expanding that collection is one of my greatest joys. A figure I've really wanted for a long time is hopefully re-releasing soon, and I've been looking forward to that!

Today in class we practiced answering questions in quizzes, and read 2 more chapters of The Color Purple.

I thought the test taking strategy we were shown was really eye opening. I will definitely be using it for future tests.

The perfect day with someone I care about

 The perfect day with someone I care about would start with getting lunch. Then afterwards we'd spend some quality time together. Maybe we'd watch a movie, or bake cookies. We could go out and do something exciting but I'd rather stay in the comfort of my own home. To end the day we'd have a nice dinner, preferably something cooked at home. Today in class we finished our one-pager assignments. I'm pretty happy with how mine turned out, it looks pretty accurate to the layout that I had in mind. I did see another student draw a phoenix on their assignment though, and I kinda regret choosing the sun because the phoenix is way cooler.

gender roles

 Today in class we discussed gender roles. It was interesting to hear everyone's views on gender, and I think that was the most vocal discussion our class has had. I liked today's lesson because I'm more aware of gender roles than I am of my family history or my ethnic culture. Especially because I am a more masculine presenting woman who is attracted to other women. Nothing out of the ordinary happened today, but for lunch we were served cheese rippers which are my favorite!
